Within this phase we focus on the teams ability to build an attack, advance the ball through midfield, and create chances within the final third.
Transition to Defense occurs when our team turns the ball over in attack. Its at the point we become the defending team we analyze how quickly we can press the ball, get back into shape and ultimately prevent our opponent from counter attacking.
Within this phase we focus on the teams ability to defend as a collective unit and, where appropriate, analyze individual defensive units.
Transition to Attack occurs when our team takes advantage of a turn over in possession from our opponents. Its at the point we become the attacking team we analyze how quickly we move the ball forward, support play with our runs, and use counter attacks to create scoring opportunities.
